Book Drive!

We were contacted by a generous individual that would like to host a book drive for kiddos in Foster Care! Every purchase made by July 30th earns us additional books through a grant matching program by Usborne Books & More. If you want to buy books for your own family as a separate order, that helps us too!   Thank you for your support!  Select “ship to organization”.

Empowered to connect

image8

We are so honored have been able to host the live simulcast for

The Empowered to Connect Conference. It is a two-day event presented by Show Hope and the Karyn Purvis Institute of Child Development.

It gave us practical teaching in a safe and supportive community as we work to equip families and professionals to better serve children impacted by foster care and adoption.

It featured Trust-Based Relational Intervention® methods developed by Dr. Karyn Purvis and Dr. David Cross from the Karyn Purvis Institute of Child Development.

We have a growing global orphan crisis, including youth right here in our own local community. 9,000 kids are currently in foster care in WA State.  We’d like to invite you to join us, the Love Recklessly organization, in discussing how we can help support families impacted by foster care and adoption. Join Mike and Aimee-Harris Fulmer after service as they provide some light lunch and share their heart for churches impacting local foster care and adoption.
